Smoked Mackerel Paté
Delectable Smoked Mackeral Paté
150g Hot smoked mackerel – skinned
100g Soft Cheese or ricotta.
Grated rind and juice of 1 small lemon
Freshly ground black pepper. No salt necessary.
Capers and chopped parsley – for decoration
Put everything except the capers and parsley into a bowl and ‘had gyaan’ (mix vigorously) with a fork. Spoon on to the oatcakes and garnish with capers and parsley.
